CATBALL ANYONE?
"Catball Anyone?" ©

The blur in the kitchen throws food in it's face;
It's no longer there, never stays in one place.
Upon waking up, he is ready for flight;
Later he calls, "Uhm, can I stay the night?"
He's at his friends', the one that won't quiet down;
Where you find there's one, the other's around.
T.V., Sports and video games, these he enjoys;
and let's not forget goodies, Boys will be boys.
The "Baby" of the family, now tall and lean;
No time for his parents, since he's reached thirteen.
Every once in a while, he indulges his dad;
A quick game of "Cat-ball", he's not too bad!
These are the special times, filled with such fun;
Teasing and laughing, while I cherish my son.
Our time is up, once more I let him win;
Maybe in a week or so, he'll honor me again.
Guy P. Drumm

He doesn't say much, So it's hard to know how he feels. He IS, however filled with love; For animals, friends, and family! Yes, even for his brother, though sometimes it's hard to tell! An all around good guy; A fierce competitor, and as a good sport. A loyal friend and basically, a damn great kid that I'm honored to (sort of...) know!
